52 Weeks of Disney: Week 13 - Alice in Wonderland
As you can imagine, I was quite excited to get my teeth into Alice in Wonderland! The possibilities are endless, with so much colour, so many crazy characters, shapes and textures. I had however done an Alice inspired look before, so I did want to keep it quite different and still relevant with the colour scheme.
I went with a traditional blue for all over the lid, using none other than Alice from the Urban Decay Alice in Wonderland palette. I thought I couldn't use anything else, this palette was made for this look! I then added a purple liner to contrast with the blue, representative of both the cheshire cat and the mad hatter. In the end I think the look resembled more of Sulley from Monsters Inc, but thats fine! Still Disney!
As photographed, I used Alice and Underland from the Alice in Wonderland palette. This palette is an absolute saint, and I feel so incredibly lucky to have had to chance to get it!
However it was lacking in transitional colours so I just threw Anaheim in the crease from the Urban Decay Gwen Stefani palette. Lord knows I can't live without a transition colour!
So I hope you like my Alice turned into Sulley look ha! It was a lot of fun to create actually, and turned a boring Sunday into something quite crazy and fun! Next week is Peter Pan, which I am thrilled about! I feel like the series has reached a point of really good characters and I'm really getting my teeth into them!
Until next time!
