The Smokey Eye Series: Naked 2 // Golds and Greys

Hey everyone and welcome to my new series. This has been an idea in the making for a lot longer than it should have been. One of my most requested looks is always a smokey eye - be it an easy smokey eye for a night out or the Kardashian smokey eye - you guys can't get enough. So I thought I would dedicate a series to smokey eyes - my favourites and ones I use on clients or friends whenever we are going out.

Today I delved into the Naked 2 palette. I've done a tonne of smokey eye looks with the original naked palette and thought it was about time I played around with the Naked 2.  The result was a bit of a different and unique smokey eye, consisting on gunmetal greys and gorgeous golds. The outcome was unique and eye catching, not your traditional smokey eye and its pretty easy to do! I even did this on two of my friends for night outs :)
To show you just HOW easy, I included a tutorial for your convenience. Enjoy and let me know in the comments if you decide to try this!

Step 1: Start with a primed eyelid (I used Lime Crime Candy Eyeshadow Helper) and eyebrows all set and ready to go.
Step 2: Apply Tease to the crease. This is going to be your transition colour.
Step 3: Apply Pistol to the inner half of the lid.

Step 4: Apply blackout very carefully to the outer half the lid.
Step 5: This is where is all comes together! Taking Busted, use this shade to blend it all together. Take your time at this stage and make sure its all nicely blended. I also used Busted in my crease to add depth. I also took the tinest amount of Half Baked in the centre of the lid
Step 6: Add your finishing touches. I used pencil eyeliner for a softer line to go with the smokiness of the look and took Busted under my lower lash line. I also finished with falsies!

And the finished look!

It was nice to get familiar with the Naked 2 palette, it really was a joy to use. Urban Decay shadows are just flawless! I really hope you will try out this look yourself, its super easy and looks really dramatic and daring on a night out! I can't wait to bust out more looks using the Naked 2, I'm thinking my next one will be something bronzey and summer appropriate!
