The Holy Grails #1 : Soap & Glory Smoothie Star

Hey everyone! Something a bit different from me today. Sometimes I do look at my little blog and feel like it is a bit samey, in that I do a lot of make up looks (and Disney related things...) but you very rarely get to see what I'm loving unless you look on my Instagram. So I thought i'd start up a new little series, where I share with you the things I repurchase the most, the things I really really love, or what we in the beauty blogging world call - our holy grails.

Today I'm talking about the Soap & Glory Smoothie Star Deep Moisture Body Milk. This lil (or should I say big!) guy is very well loved and has been repurchased more times than I can count.
Just a little background into my skin type. Its dry, and when I say dry I mean, its like a desert! I'm not kidding, if I don't use a good moisturiser, my skin cracks, flakes off (TMI alert) and I start to resemble Hopper's brother in A Bugs Life! I have tried A LOT of moisturisers and its this one that makes the cut to my Holy Grails.
Its a bit different, in that its body milk so the texture is quite thin compared to other moisturisers. Its designed to be used after the shower, to lock in moisture and I do find that is the best time to use this product. It really does lock in the moisture and keep my skin soft and hydrated until my next shower (I shower daily if not every other day!) If I need a little moisture in between I pair this with my Smoothie Star Body Butter which has the same great scent but also moisturises like a dream. I won't dwell, as I want these to be quite quick posts, but the smell is DIVINE - among my favourites of the Soap and Glory range of which I liken to cookies but seems different to everyone I know. It definitely keeps my dry skin at bay and when I'm without this even for a month, I notice a definite difference in my skin.

I only need to buy 2 of these a year so they definitely justify the £10 price tag (or I think so anyways, £10 for 6 months broken down doesn't seem bad to me!). You will find these and all other Soap and Glory products at Boots :)

Tell me one of your Holy Grail products in the comments below!

  1. Its only been this Christmas that I've actually started using soap and glory products (mainly because they are quite expensive for whats they are) but I have been in LOVEEEEEE with the Whipped clean shower butter. Smells sooooo good! maybe I need to invest in this one... But I am so bad and lazy about putting moisturizer on my body....

    1. I love the scent of their body scrub but I don't find it scrubby enough if that makes sense? My sandpaper skin requires the heavy duty stuff haha! But I adore the scent of it!

  7. I have to admit I get so confused by Soap & Glory's products! They appear to have so many similar products but all with different names and smells and belonging to different scent groups, but I think this is the one I bought most recently. If it is I love it too, it smells amazing, kind of vanillary, creamy, pistachio and I like that it's light but keeps my skin moisturised and soft x

  8. I still haven't tried any soap & glory products :0 I know, it's terrible an I really need to change this so next time I'm in Boots I may just pick this up, I'm a sucker for anything that keeps skin lovely and soft but isn't too thick in texture.
