Disney Post: Mickey & Minnie Mouse Moleskine Notebooks

Hey guys! Happy 2014! As I type this my wrist is feeling a whole lot better so normal make up looks should resume soon :)
But as you might know if you read my new years resolutions post, I wanted to incorporate more Disney into my blog, as its one of the things I get asked about the most on Twitter and by e-mail (which I welcome by the way! I love talking Disney!) I wanted to start posting about more of my little finds, new releases and so on, so expect more of that coming up this year!

At the beginning of every year I like to get new notebooks and stationary to start the year fresh! Last year around March/April Disney teamed up with legendary stationary brand Moleskine, to design some pretty fly notebooks for stationary and Disney lovers alike!
When the new year came around, I took the plunge and ordered them for all my blogging related scribbles. I also couldn't resist grabbing the Minnie Mouse versions too which came out late last year as the Mickey ones did so well. A girl can never have too many notebooks!

To be honest, its amazing how happy these notebooks made me. Starting with the Mickey notebook, the design is so simple and classy with a glossy black cover and the delicate and subtle Mickey design debossed onto the front. It is a real change to the sometimes garish Disney notebooks you can get, with a professional feel that wouldn't make you embarrassed to take out in front of people. I bought both the large and small size, with the intention of keeping the smaller size in my handbag for jotting on the go.
The Minnie notebooks differ, with a polka dot theme which is slightly more fun and girly and very reminiscent of Minnie herself and while not as subtle as the Mickey version, I love it equally as much as it has a little more "personality" to it while still not becoming overbearingly Disney. Both come with added extras such as a how to draw Mickey guide and Minnie stickers in their respective notepads.

Both come with a little folder at the back of the notepad to store any extra's.

As expected they reek elegance and high quality and as a Moleskine virgin I can honestly say I am a covert. You can purchase these both ruled and plain, to suit your needs. I went for mainly ruled, with one plain to add some variety. You can purchase these directly from Moleskine here, but I actually found them a lot lot cheaper at the Book Depository here and here. They arrived within 3-4 days in excellent condition and I am now happily scribbling away my blogging aims, goals and ideas in them. These are perfect for the Disney stationary lover and if you are looking for something a little more grown up for your handbag! I can honestly say I am hooked and currently eyeing up the Peanuts range (I bleeding love Snoopy!).

I hope you are enjoying my first steps into becoming a Disney blogger! Have you found any cool Disney finds lately?

  6. WHY?! WHY?! I both love/loathe your Disney posts. They're always so fantastic but I end up wanting all the things. More than I do whilst reading a beauty post. Also, I love moleskine's. Probably my favorite things to use for sketching and journaling. I NEED THE MINNIE ONES. It's totally wicked and again, I both love and loathe you for sharing that these beauts exist!!
