Minnie Mouse & Etude House Collaboration: Minnie Touch Blusher Review & Swatches

So I'm back with another Minnie Mouse and Etude House review! This time I'm bringing you the blusher of the collection, which as a blusher addict I couldn't wait to receive. The blusher also comes with a corresponding highlighter, although mine unfortunately came smashed to pieces (I have no luck do I?!) so that review will come later :)

The Minnie Touch blusher is the cutest darn thing and if you have a thing for Disney and a thing for blushers, then you wanna get your hands on this!!
Again the packaging is pretty awesome. With a cute pink and black box with Mickey icons dotting the sides, its perfectly Minnie. The back features the Mickey shaped barcode that most of the collection features and the inscription "xoxo Minnie, hugs and kisses" as well as a description of how to use the blusher and a small diagram showing the three different areas.

The compact itself shows an image of Minnie and a cute polka dot design. I absolutely love the design as it looks grown up (compared to how some Disney collections can come across) and almost "sketched" although I do feel that could easily be scratched off! The compact feels weighty but I myself wouldn't risk taking this out with me or travelling, as in my experience, these are easily breakable! The compact does not have a mirror, but I very rarely use those anyway! I will admit, upon opening the lid does feel a little flimsy so I imagine over time it could "flap" open, so just a word of caution there. Inside you have the cutest design on Minnie Mouse in three different colours, a lavender, a peach and a pink. I myself think the areas are too small to dip your brush in individually, so its better to just swirl your brush around and gather all three colours together.

The Minnie motif in the middle does wear down very easily. I have used mine about 5 times and it is looking a bit worse for wear. It is a shame but the product itself is a really nice pastel pink which I think would look brilliant on paler skin tones. It is a very cool toned pink and gives your cheeks the look that can only be likened to just coming in from the cold. It has a very snow bunny look to it, which I think is very appropriate for the upcoming season. The formula is very powdery I found, it kicks up a bit and can become quite messy so use with caution and don't go in just swirling that brush around or you'll have a mess on your hands! Other than that, thats the only negative I can come up with because the result is a very pretty feminine pink flush to the cheeks that is almost impossible to overdo! :)

How the blusher looks like on :)

I really do like this and do find myself reaching for it a lot as it isn't shimmery and looks very natural and perfect for daytime. I purchased this and almost all of the Etude House Minnie Mouse collection from this eBay seller here for £10 with free delivery! Delivery took me approximately 2 weeks and even though the highlighter was smashed (probably due to over enthusiastic customs people!) everything else was in tip top shape and the seller threw in loads of free samples!

If a make up company could collaborate with any Disney character, who would you love to see? I'd love to see the Princesses!

Me too, I'd love to see another line but inspired by pricesses (especially Jasmine). I've seen the Sephora (I think) one but I love more what Etude House does.. it surprises me always!
