Weekly Work Look #7: Daytime Smokey
Hey everyone. This weeks look is a bit different. I've been inspired by the cooler weather to play around with my eyes a bit more, so this may not be for everyone! I don't know about you, but in the summer, I go pretty minimal, but as the Autumn approaches and eventually Winter, I find myself going darker and playing up my eyes more. This look, while a bit heavier than usual, is still very daytime appropriate and perfect for perhaps those days where you may have an occasion after work or just want to wear a bit more make up than usual! There is nothing wrong with that and for me, someone who always changes up their look weekly, I am enjoying going darker on the eyes for our darker days.
So there's my look for this week. It may not be wearable to some, but I just love this time of year for darkening my whole routine.
What do you think? Would you rock this during the day?

I really like the shades in this palette. At the same time I'm aiming to get the Naked2! However I think I would still get this eventually! I love how you've used the black to make the winged out edge!
ReplyDeleteI think this palette is definitely worth buying, its only something like £7/8 so you could get both ;)
DeleteThis looks lovely :) I can never get the different shades to work properly when I try to do a smoky eye - it all ends up being grey haha. I'll have to give it another go :)

Haha I feel you girl! I have that problem all the time! I find it helps to get the dark shades out the way first (so I did the black wing first) before starting on the lighter shades. That stops the darker shade overwhelming the look :)
DeleteThis is a really pretty look and I love the palette.

DeleteAbsolutely LOVE this make-up look!!! This is so right up my street! I keep my lids fairly neutral and would wear this sort of look myself! I have the UD Naked Palettes but don't own this Sleek one... I think I may just have to purchase!!
ReplyDeleteWould love it if you could check out my everyday make-up look!

DeleteSuch a pretty look. I think it's wearable but I tend to use a lot of eyeshadow lately x
ReplyDeleteI think its wearable too! Some may say too much, but I think this is the time of year to get away with it :)
DeleteI definitely can feel like I wear too much eyeshadow some days but I love experimenting with it now x
