Weekly Work Look #5: Feeling like a Princess (ft Beautifully Disney Enchanted Kiss Palette)

Whenever I pull out one of my Disney eyeshadow palettes, I do come over feeling all Princess-y and automatically my day is better. My newest addition - Beautifully Disney's Enchanted Kiss palette; inspired by the original princesses Cinderella, Snow White and Aurora, is no exception.
This palette is lovely, I have found myself reaching for it recently as you have an entire look in a palette here, so easy for daytime and incredibly girly and well... princessy! Its safe to say I skip to work, bluebirds and small critters in tow, singing merrily to myself.

And yes my workmates do think I'm completely mental as this does actually happen (minus the critters)
I think the reason I'm loving it so much is because I am normally one to shy away from pinks. I have had many a experience in the past with pink eyeshadows and all of them result in me looking like I have hayfever/been crying/been in a fight/ all of the above. But I'm embracing it, learning which pinks are best for me and I can happily report I have found the perfect one in the Enchanted Kiss palette.

So I hope you enjoy this weeks work look and maybe even inject a bit of pink into your look - you really will feel like a princess!*

What has been your go-to look for work this week?

*Princess results may vary.

  2. I like this! I like pinks, but those are too drastic for work, lol. I'd still wear it if it didn't bother anyone though. This is a really pretty alternative.

  8. I always thought that pinks were a color that was everyone's 'fail safe' color, but I had no idea people disliked wearing it so much or had that effect. I love the combination you have here. Usually pinks are always paired best with browns :)

    1. I don't know, maybe its just me. I can never wear pinks, maybe its my skintone! But this one is THE ONE :)

  9. I wear pink shadow all the time since I have green eyes and it's one of the colors that make them pop. The key for me is making sure you have dark liner between your eye and the color (top and/or bottom.. wherever the pink is). Black is great, but grey, brown, or even navy or (dark) purple work as well. Works as a barrier between the pink and the whites of your eyes so you avoid the rabbit/eye infection look.
