Disney Post: Primark Picks
Hey everyone. So here's a little something you may not know. I don't get that many emails, I mean, you know I get the odd PR one and a few make up questions. But more than any other email I get asked questions about Disney! And being the
weirdo addict that I am, I love talking Disney and welcome any emails. I don't know why I get emailed about Disney, whether its about holidays, deals, launches or merchandise, I just do... but I bloody love it. I could talk Disney all day but anyways, lets move on as I sound crazy enough as it is!
A lot of the questions I get asked is "Where did you get this..." or "where can I find this thing you were talking about" so I thought i'd just post about it on here. It seems the easiest way to share my little finds and you never know, you might find something cool and if you don't like these posts... well, never mind!
So most of my finds are from Primark. Whenever I see anything with Mickey Mouse on it (or Minnie for that matter)
(or anything) I feel an overwhelming urge to buy it. But don't get me wrong, its gotta be cute! So this month, Primark has some pretty cute things! Here's what I picked up recently!
Disney Roll Sleeve T-Shirt - £6
I thought this was kind of cool, although not to everyones taste I imagine! I think it looks nice, casual but colourful (I'm not a fashion blogger so s'cuse my poor erm... descriptions!) I really like this tucked into shorts, especially high waisted ones for some reason and adore the roll sleeve detail. I love the boyishness of the sleeves but the way you can jazz it up with a pair of shorts. I donned mine with my Mickey Mouse sneakers.
Mickey Mouse Sweatshirt - £8
Again, this won't be to everyones taste but I really like sweatshirts. They are just so comfy and casual. I especially like this has longer sleeves, it just adds to the comfy-ness! It is a bit bold and out there, it does scream Disney just a little bit, but I think this will be nice when it cools down and has a sort of retro feel to it. Also please bear in mind, this was taken when the weather was a bit cooler... right now I'm sweating just looking at myself in that jumper. Gawsh.
|Why I could never be a "fashion blogger"|
I thought this t-shirt was quite cute and for £6 I'm gonna snap it up! I really like this as the colours and print isn't as bright as the other pieces I picked up and I can see this going with a lot of things! I really love this mint skirt that I got last year from River Island and for £10 too! I think its girly and paired with the boyish turned up sleeves on this top, I quite like the contrast of feminine and boyish.
Comic Print Mickey T-shirt
|Y'know. Customary "jump" shot.|
Again not going to be to everyones liking, but I thought it was nice. I love the comic print personally and again, the rolled up sleeves. I paired this with these polka dot shorts from Pacsun as England is HOT at the moment. I hate my thighs, but alas, life is too short to worry about what people think of my legs. I really liked it - it made for a balanced outfit with a lot of leg but not much going on up top.
So thats this months Primark picks. Primark does some excellent little Disney bits, some absolutely ghastly but some are cute. Please let me know what you think of this post. Its my first saunter into "fashion" and while I'm very much a beauty girl, I thought i'd add something different on a topic I get quite a lot of questions on.
So let me know, would you like to see more of this, or shall I stick to what I know!
