Lush Mothers Day Review: Mumkin Bubble Bar
Hey everyone. I know its Mothers Day tomorrow so this review may be a little late if you are getting your mum a present. Last year I ended up taking my mum out to Lakeside for a Mothers Day shopping treat and got her lots of last years Mothers Day range, perhaps an idea if you are stuck for what to do!
Anyways, today I'm reviewing the Mumkin Bubble Bar - possibly the cutest bubble bar in the history of Lush products! This little guy is just adorable, I had a real tough time crushing it up and putting it in my bath because its so darn cute! Lush should do quirky little products like this more often.
I used about half of my Mumkin to produce enough bubbles (admittedly I had more than enough so you could probably get 4 baths out of this by using a quarter each time). The bubbles are pretty long lasting as far as Lush bubble bars go but one problem I had was I didn't find the scent particularly strong or long lasting. Mumkin smells amazing - raspberries and cream, like a sister to the Magic Mushroom! If you liked the Magic Mushroom but didn't want to order it from Retro, this is worth buying as a semi-replacement. I only wish the scent was stronger in the bath!
The water turns a nice raspberry colour, bubbles are long lasting and hey, this little guy is darn cute! For £2.75 and 4 baths, I don't think the price is that bad either!
This would make a cute gift for both mums and lushies alike, if you still want to get your hands on one to try, Lush stores will have them while supplies last and the Lush website still has some in stock here for £2.75.
