Urban Decay Glinda Palette Make Up Look

Hey everyone. So this week I have been playing around more and more with the Urban Decay Glinda Palette. If you read my review, you may have noticed I wasn't too keen on the palette. While Urban Decay did a great job, I felt the palettes overall colour scheme wasn't for me. But I am always determined to make a palette work for me, so I grabbed my brushes and got working, eventually coming up with this whimsical girly look which to me screams Glinda. I wanted to create something that would do justice to the lady herself and fit in with the theme of the palette. I kept it soft and feminine with no smokey crease or harsh edges.

I hope you enjoy this look! Let me know if you like seeing this softer side of me :)

I love these Katy Perry lashes!

Products Used: Urban Decay Glinda Palette, Urban Decay Glinda Super saturated lip pencil and eyeshadow Magic as blusher. Benefit High Brow to highlight. MAC lingering eyebrow pencil for brows. Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturiser and Katy Perry falsies

So I hope you enjoyed this look, its just one of the ways you could use the Glinda palette. I really enjoyed patting the gold shade in the middle of my lid - it looked really subtle but still "magical". Also Magic makes the prettiest blusher, its so glowy and feminine. You should definitely try it if you have this palette!

Have you got the Glinda palette? What are your favourite looks with it?

  17. I really loved how you changed it up by having the light colour on your lid, it really opens up your eyes. I don't have the same palette but I have some similar colours so I may steal this idea.

  20. I have been lusting over this palette but decided the main attraction was the cuteness of the packaging, then I looked at swatches and thought the shadows look gorgeous and now that I've seen this, I want it more! But I don't think I can justify spending that much on something I will barely use!
The look you have created is sooo pretty :) xx
