Review: MAC Mineralize Blush in Dainty

This is a scheduled post whilst I am on holiday. I'll be back to reply to any comments on the 13th :)

This review has been on the back burner for a while now, I always feel reluctant to post about things that are so heavily reviewed on the blogosphere but this is one of my holy grail MAC products so I thought I would anyways!

Dainty was the first MAC blusher I ever purchased, I was a make up noob and didn't want an overpowering blusher, I was just looking for an everyday pretty pink. Dainty is just beautiful, it is a lovely quaint pink. Think of a dainty porcelain doll, with those pretty pink cheeks, or just come in from the cold sort of cheeks. It really is lovely.
The thing I love most about Dainty is not only the way it looks, but the way it is so effortless. It blends perfectly with minimal effort and really can just be swept onto the cheeks in a hurry without worrying about it! Dainty has a very subtle golden sheen to it, but this doesn't transfer to the skin. You do get some shimmer though, but nothing like the shimmer you experience with Orgasm. It is more of a sheen that looks like a highlight and generally brightens the face. Nothing to worry about!

Being a mineralized blush means it is different from others in the range, this formula of blusher is baked. I generally find with mineralize blushers especially from MAC, the wear time isn't as long as their normal blushers. I find I get 6 hours at a push with these which obviously isn't ideal. I like my blushers to be longwearing and touch up minimal, since at work I don't really have time to be reapplying. For me the shade of this blusher is so work appropriate but I just wish it lasted longer!

Dainty on the cheeks

You can buy Dainty for £19.00 here or at your local MAC counter/store. I have had mine for over 2 years and am pretty close to hitting pan, but never seem to be reaching it!
