Summer Series: Tan&Teal
Hi again everyone!
I thought I would do a summer series to go alongside my Disney one. The weather this week has been divine (even though today decided to take a turn for the worst) so I have been injecting some summer lovin' into my make up looks! I just love using blues/teals in the summer, they look gorgeous against a tan and this look is super wearable because its toned down by Amber Lights in the crease. I was loosely inspired by this tutorial by Tiffany D which she did a while back but didn't have a single product of hers to recreate it. I decided to make mine less smokey and a bit more loud! I really like how summery this look is without being overpowering, its a great look for girlies who want to inject some colour into their make up without it being too "much".
If you follow me on twitter, you will see I actually did this look 3 separate times and was unhappy every time I did it, but looking back I've warmed to it a bit more. I haven't been having much luck lately with make up looks but hopefully that will get better soon.

Products Used:
- Urban Decay Primer Potion (creases like crazy on me but has to be used :'()
- MAC Pro Longwear Foundation and Collection 2000 Lasting Perfection Concealer over blemishes with Garnier Anti Circle Roll on under the eyes.
- Sleek PPQ Palette colour in Salt n Peppermint all over the lid.
- MAC Dance in the Dark eyeshadow in the outer V (very lightly)
- MAC Amber Lights in the crease and blended up to eyebrows.
- MAC Blue Noon eyeshadow on the lower waterline and Graphblack in the upper waterline.
- Urban Decay Liquid eyeliner
- Urban Decay Supercurl mascara (quite good actually! I am liking!)
- Benefit High Brow to highlight.
- MAC Blankety on the lips with Loreal Glam shine in the middle for a bit of shine.
I hope you enjoyed :D On a more personal note. For those who don't know at the moment I am undertaking the perilous journey to try and get into medical school. I have been offered an assessment day on the 28th of this month and it is basically a 2 hour math exam. I will still continue to blog but my weekend MAC posts might have to take a backseat until its over! They will be back though, don't worry :D Have a great day!
I love this look, it really makes your eyes pop! x
